What Pasta Goes Best With Meatballs?
Meatballs go well with penne pasta or spaghetti. Silky spaghetti works best with tender meatballs and delightful marinara sauce.
These days, you can get a variety of tinned meatballs with spaghetti. All we can say is- don’t buy them. They have added preservatives and the flavours aren’t as good as the freshly made ones. You can whip up spaghetti with a meatball recipe in about an hour with almost no prep time and wash it off with the best coffee. Sounds easy? It is.

How to Cook the Meatballs?
You can use white, brown or whole wheat bread for making meatballs.
Italian sausage is preferable. If you can’t find Italian sausage, buy any sausage you can find and take the casing off to get the flavour.
With that, you can use ground beef, lamb or pork too.
You’ll need freshly grated parmesan for seasoning. Don’t buy pre-packaged ones.
Steps -
Combine the bread with water in a large bowl.
Mix it with the 1 lb of minced ground beef, lamb or pork and 1 lb of Italian sausage.
To that, add salt and pepper, a generous amount of garlic and 1 egg. Combine them well.
Round the meatballs with your hand and coat them with flour.
Heat a large skillet with olive oil. Add meatballs taking care not to overcrowd.
Fry till they are brown on all sides.
You can add uncooked meatballs in the sauce too. They will get cooked in the sauce and will impart a meaty flavour to it. But, you may end up with bland meatballs.
How to Make Marinara Sauce
In the same skillet, add cloves of garlic. Sautee them for 1 min and add chopped onions until they become brownish. Add white for added flavour.
Add 2 cans of crushed tomato or tomato puree. You can make it yourself too. Boil it and stir it frequently.
Add meatballs to the sauce. Let them simmer for about half an hour and turn them so that they cook properly.
Cook it till the sauce becomes thick, the meat is thoroughly cooked.
Season with fresh spices and pepper.
How To Cook The Spaghetti?

Take a large utensil with water and add salt to it. Bring it to boil. Add pasta and cook it till it’s al dente- pasta that has a chew to it.
Pour the appetizing sauce over the spaghetti. Toss it well.
